The Knights of Columbus, St. Peter’s Council, held their 5th annual Wine & Spirits Tasting Charity Event, which was held on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the Paramount Event & Conference Centre.
This year was the biggest and most successful ever with just under 1000 people in attendance, all enjoying wines, spirits, cheeses and sweets. It was not only an evening to get together but also a chance to give back to the community and support the St. Peter’s Knights Local Charities; benefiting from this event will be;
• Camp Oochigeas – Camp Quality and Camp Trillium – these are camps who deal with children struggling with Cancer.
• Campaign Life Coalition, Birth Right International, and other right to life association programs.
• Safehaven House – a home for Children with multiple disabilities.
• The Vaughan Food Bank
